Nancy Grigsby Survivor Fund
In honor of Nancy Grigsby, co-founder of Artemis Center who served as Co-Director (1985 – 1990) and Executive Director (1990 – 2001), this fund was created to enhance the safety of domestic violence victims and their children. The fund provides critical assistance for domestic violence victims trying to leave an abusive situation with few resources.
While Artemis Center does receive program funding support from a number of government and private sources, few resources are available to assist with the basics of food, shelter, transportation, and safety. Such needs may include groceries and personal care items, money for rent deposit and utilities, or new locks for a home.

In-Kind Donations
Often, women and children come to Artemis Center with few personal items. Many organizations and individuals hold donation drives to support our goal to provide families experiencing domestic violence with the necessities for daily living—such as food and personal care items.
